What. The. Shit.

I was beginning to think I'd never get around to doing this. But here I am! An almost fully-fledged independent human being, with his own flat, and his own interporn connection. In truly clichéd fashion, I'm back. And none of you care!

In the last month I've managed to finally move out of the parental abode and into a cushy flatshare with ~FabiFox in Aberystwyth, a neat little city in mid-western Wales. It's a nice place with plenty for you to be doing with yourself, and jobs are mercifully easy to come by (still working on landing a new one, but hopefully it shouldn't be long before I do).
I have my own damn room for the first time in years; you don't appreciate just what a boon that is until you've gone without for a while. Personal space for the win, win, win.
As such! I hope to finally be getting back into the swing of clutching stylii and making some shapes. I have a notepad file on my phone full of little ideas that I'll be using to re-cut my teeth on, and myself and Mr. Fox are also hopefully putting together a neat-looking sci-fi webcomic with a hard-edge two-tone visual style.
What I really want to be doing, once the novelty (and clutter) of moving home has died down, is really improving on my style and technique on all fronts. I've basically been out of the game for the best part of three years and as such, my quality's not really where I'd like it to be, or even where I think it's capable of being. At least I haven't regressed too badly, though - I can still just about sling a pic together, given time.

In short, you can perhaps expect something vaguely resembling activity from me from here on out. Which is nice. If money and time make themselves available in due course, I might also see about doing RBW again this October, though I wouldn't hold too much hope out on that one.
If you care to follow my exploits in any further detail, I have a nasty case of verbal diarrhea all over Twitter, and I'll be getting back onto the old LiveJournal shortly. Honestly, it's like I fell off the face of the earth, or something.

Final thought for now: if you haven't tried Paint Tool Sai yet, you need to. Even for a digital nubcake like me, it's smooth as silk. Obscenely useful.
